Pizza Dough
Simple pizza dough base - ready to customise with your preferred method.

Ingredients
- 375ml warm water
- 600g flour
- 2 tsp instant yeast
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sugar
Method
- Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl. Let stand for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Punch down dough and divide into 4 equal pieces.
- Shape each piece into a ball. Cover and rest for 15 minutes.
- Roll or stretch each ball into a pizza base.
- Top as desired and bake at 220-250°C for 10-12 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.

Notes
For a crispier crust, use bread flour instead of all-purpose flour.
Dough can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
